Do not trust too much in vendors' websites when you´re thinking about upgrade your BIOS.
I opened the page of EliteGroup ECS in 02/AUG/2002 and the page had an error that made me make a mistake. My MotherBoard is a K7S5A 1.0 and I choose it from the list (the left image below). So, I get the flash and installed that bios update and the system crashed because it was the wrong updater.
After the crash, I came to the site again and opened http://www.ecs.com.tw/download/k7s5a2.htm. There was the real name of the ROM I used: K7S5A2. I tryed everything and I can´t fix the BIOS.
Some hours later I came to ECS website and they changed the page and the option I chosen was no longer there. In the replace there was what you can see in the second image.
Good luck and take care, check everything three times before run the flash updater on your mainboard.
